Jersey City’s relationship with the New York Giants baseball team, came to a close at the end of the 1950 season after the Giant franchise rellocated to the West Coast. The Jersey City Giants were a high level minor league team that competed in the International League. Called the Little Giants, the team call Roosevelt Stadium home. The Giants won League titles in 1939 and 1947. Shown here is a faithful reproduction of the team’s on-field cap from their 1950 season. The crown, button and bill are solid Black. The JC lock-up logo appears on the front panels in an Orange die cut felt.
